Building strong communities, supporting our team, and fostering meaningful collaborations rooted in Northern New Mexico.
Abrazos envisions communities where Latino, Hispanic, Native American, and all people of color have easy and affordable access to behavioral health services. We see a future where our workplace culture empowers staff to feel challenged, supported, and invested in their work.
We provide culturally responsive mental health services in Northern New Mexico and address access barriers by offering therapy in-office, in-home, and within communities, while eliminating language and cultural obstacles. We also prioritize care for undocumented, uninsured, and under-resourced individuals by providing fee-free services.
Our vision includes recruiting and retaining culturally aware and bilingual therapists and social workers by fostering a supportive, positive, and open workplace culture, where staff are compensated fairly and encouraged to pursue work they’re passionate about.
Additionally, we are developing a culturally relevant training program and curriculum designed to enhance our therapists’ skills and share our knowledge with partner agencies.
